Some projects deserve to be shared, even if they did not get built. This one resonates with our Brussels singularity.

The Brussels Expo Group, in charge of major event venues, launched a contest for a new restaurant located at the 1935 & 1958 World Fair site, close to the Atomium. Its goal was to create a premium brasserie, appealing to trade fair visitors, neighbouring entreprise employees and concertgoers.

Situated in a building untouched since the Thirties, its architecture is about clean lines and sobriety, with an art déco flair.

Our team was inspired by this nostalgic yet very modern setting and envisioned Brasserie 58, a comfortable and timeless space, with muted colours, warm and efficient materials.

Tailor-made suspended lights surround the columns and fly over the tables by the windows, creating a visual dynamic around the restaurant. The bar is highlighted by its central location and its variety of experiences: you can eat alone, with one or two persons or in a group.

The project gives off a feeling of comfort and elegance: the brasserie takes on the appearance of a refined restaurant, where you want to have lunch with colleagues, spend an evening with friends, and then go back to with your special someone.
