Orange : Essential space organization
Our studio was selected to redesign the kitchen and self-service area of the Orange headquarters in Brussels, currently operated by Sodexo. Hosting 800 to 1200 people daily, the spatial organisation needed to be cristal clear so that the guests could instantly understand where they needed to go.
Placing the counter in the center naturally divides the flow of employees, creating a more fluid and efficient flow saving precious time to fully enjoy the meal and gathering with colleagues.
Together with Sodexo, we worked on a central avocado-shaped bar focused on a food offer evolving all day long. The employees can relish a healthy breakfast with cold-pressed fruit juices, delicious salads, fresh fruits and homemade desserts at lunch and grab crunchy cookies and a variety of snacks at any time.
We aimed to create a market feeling through emphasizing light, the presence of wood and a dark color scheme highlighting the different counters: the grill, the bakery and the « to go ».
